The Chris Hani District Municipality has indicated that Indwe and surrounding townships are currently without water.
This follows a power outage which had affected water supply in the area.
Spokesperson Thobeka Mqamelo said the electricity outage which occurred last night around 11pm has since been restored.
“Carting trucks have been dispatched to support the affected areas,” Mqamelo said.
She added that with the power back on, residents should be able to receive water around 3pm today.
